Personal Information — When you create an account or purchase tickets, we collect:

Payment Information — Payments are handled by Paystack (PCI-DSS compliant). We do not store complete card details. We only retain:

• Last 4 digits of your card and card brand
• Payment transaction IDs
• Bank account details for organisers receiving payouts

Usage Data — We automatically collect information about how you interact with the platform:

Cookies & Tracking Technologies — We use cookies and local storage to maintain login sessions, remember preferences, analyse usage, deliver targeted advertising, and prevent fraud.

We use your information to:

• Provide Services: Create accounts, process ticket purchases, manage events, generate QR codes, and facilitate check-ins
• Process Payments: Handle payments, refunds, and payouts to organisers via Paystack
• Communicate: Send order confirmations, event reminders, newsletters, and support responses
• Analyse: Understand usage patterns, event performance, and platform metrics to improve the product
• Advertise: Deliver targeted campaigns on social media platforms (Meta, Snapchat, TikTok) where you have opted in
• Secure: Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats
• Comply: Meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

We will never sell your personal information to third parties.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

• Event Organisers: When you purchase tickets, we share your name, email, and order details with the event organiser for check-in and fulfilment purposes
• Payment Processor: Paystack receives payment data to process transactions securely
• Infrastructure Partners: Cloudinary (image hosting), our email service provider, and hosting infrastructure providers — all under data processing agreements
• Advertising Platforms: Meta/Facebook and Snapchat receive anonymised or hashed data for advertising purposes when you have not opted out
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or government regulation
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our assets — you will be notified in advance
• Your Consent: For any other purpose with your explicit consent

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

• Account data is retained until you request deletion
• Transaction and financial records are kept for a minimum of 7 years to comply with Nigerian tax and accounting regulations
• Event analytics data may be retained in anonymised form indefinitely

VybEntry is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at privacy@vybentry.com and we will promptly delete that information.

VybEntry operates primarily in Nigeria. Your information may be transferred to and processed on servers located outside your country — including infrastructure and third-party service providers in the United States and European Union. By using VybEntry, you consent to this transfer. We ensure appropriate contractual safeguards are in place to protect your data during any international transfer.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-platform notification before the changes take effect.
