Please read these terms carefully before using VybEntry. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Important: By accessing and using VybEntry, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of VybEntry’s website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the “Platform”). VybEntry (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides an online ticketing and event management platform.
By creating an account, purchasing tickets, or using any part of our Platform, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations.
Account Registration
2.1 Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 must have parental consent.
2.2 Account Types:
- Personal Account: For individuals attending events
- Organisation Account: For event organisers and businesses
2.3 Account Security: You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access
- Ensuring your account information is accurate and current
2.4 Account Suspension: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the Platform.
Ticket Purchases
3.1 Purchase Process:
- Orders are confirmed upon successful payment
- You will receive a confirmation email with your QR codes
- Tickets are non-transferable unless specified by the organiser
3.2 Pricing:
- All prices are listed in the currency specified (NGN, USD, etc.)
- Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
- Service fees and payment processing fees may apply
- Promotional codes may have specific terms and limitations
3.3 Payment Methods: We accept credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and mobile wallets through Paystack, our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. All payments are subject to verification and approval.
3.4 Failed Payments: If payment fails, your order will be cancelled and tickets released. You may retry your purchase as long as tickets remain available.
Refunds & Cancellations
4.1 Refund Policy:
- Refund eligibility is determined by the event organiser
- Event cancellation by organiser: Full refund processed automatically
- Event postponement: Refund or ticket transfer at organiser’s discretion
- Customer cancellation: Subject to the organiser’s stated refund policy
- Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days
4.2 Non-Refundable Fees: Service fees and payment processing fees may be non-refundable depending on the circumstances of the refund.
4.3 Refund Requests: To request a refund, go to Dashboard → Booking History → Request Refund. Include a reason for your request.
4.4 Disputes: For payment disputes, contact us at hello@vybentry.com within 30 days of the transaction.
Event Organiser Terms
5.1 Organiser Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and complete event information
- Honour all ticket sales and admissions
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Maintain appropriate licences and permits
- Provide safe and accessible venues
- Respond to attendee enquiries in a timely manner
5.2 Prohibited Events: Organisers may not create events that violate any law, promote illegal activity, involve hate speech or discrimination, are fraudulent or misleading, or infringe on intellectual property rights.
5.3 Platform Commission: VybEntry charges a commission of 5% on gross ticket sales, plus applicable Paystack processing fees (1.5% + ₦100, capped at ₦2,000 per transaction).
5.4 Payouts:
- Payouts are processed weekly (every Friday)
- Minimum payout threshold: ₦5,000
- Accurate bank account information required
- Tax ID or business registration may be required
- Refund amounts are deducted from upcoming payouts
Marketing & Advertising Services
6.1 Campaign Creation: Organisers can create advertising campaigns on Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Snapchat, TikTok, and other platforms through VybEntry’s marketing tools.
6.2 Campaign Approval: All campaigns are subject to admin review and approval. We reserve the right to reject campaigns that violate advertising policies or community standards.
6.3 Ad Spend: You are responsible for all advertising costs. Campaign budgets are set by you and charged separately from ticket sales commissions.
6.4 Performance: We do not guarantee specific campaign results including impressions, clicks, or conversions. Performance depends on multiple factors including creative quality, targeting, and market conditions.
6.5 Third-Party Platforms: Campaigns run on third-party platforms are subject to those platforms’ own advertising policies and terms of service.
Intellectual Property
7.1 VybEntry Content: All content, features, and functionality on the Platform — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — are owned by VybEntry and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
7.2 User Content: You retain ownership of content you upload (event descriptions, images, videos). By uploading content, you grant VybEntry a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and promote your content on the Platform.
7.3 Copyright Infringement: If you believe content on VybEntry infringes your copyright, contact us at hello@vybentry.com with a description of the work, the location of the infringing content, your contact information, and a statement of good faith belief.
Prohibited Activities
You may not use the Platform to:
- Conduct illegal activities or violate any applicable law
- Create fake accounts or provide false information
- Engage in fraudulent ticket sales or purchases
- Resell tickets at inflated prices (scalping) without authorisation
- Share, copy, or distribute tickets without permission
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to hack the Platform
- Use bots, scripts, or automated tools without prior written permission
- Spam, harass, or abuse other users or organisers
- Upload viruses, malware, or any malicious code
- Interfere with Platform security, performance, or infrastructure
Limitation of Liability
9.1 Platform Availability: The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
9.2 Event Responsibility: VybEntry is a marketplace connecting organisers and attendees. We are not responsible for event quality, safety, accuracy of event information, organiser conduct, venue conditions, or event cancellations or changes.
9.3 Damages: To the fullest extent permitted by law, VybEntry shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
9.4 Maximum Liability: Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to VybEntry in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VybEntry, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any rights of another party, or your event content or organisation activities.
Dispute Resolution
11.1 Informal Resolution: Before filing any formal claim, contact us at hello@vybentry.com to attempt an informal resolution. We will respond within 10 business days.
11.2 Arbitration: Any disputes not resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable Nigerian arbitration rules, rather than in court.
11.3 Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
11.4 Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-platform notification before taking effect. Continued use of VybEntry after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.
Termination
13.1 By You: You may close your account at any time through account settings. Closing your account does not cancel pending orders or outstanding obligations.
13.2 By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or illegal activity, abuse the Platform or other users, or fail to pay outstanding fees.
13.3 Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. We may delete your account data subject to legal retention requirements.
Miscellaneous
14.1 Entire Agreement: These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and VybEntry regarding use of the Platform.
14.2 Severability: If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
14.3 Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it in the future.
14.4 Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms to any affiliate or successor entity.
14.5 Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or network outages.
